PRODUCT SPECIFICAGTIONS 

  • How to Cool Gel Packs
    • Place gel pack flat in freezer for at least 2 hours.
    • Remove the gel pack from the freezer and place it in a knee brace before applying.
    • Apply the knee brace to the affected area.
    • Never apply cold therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time.
  • How to Heat Gel Packs in a Microwave
    • Note: Gel pack must be at room temperature before heating in the microwave
    • Place the gel pack on a paper towel in the microwave.
    • Heat at full power for 45-60 seconds.
    • Reheat at 10-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached.
    • Place in a knee brace and apply to the affected area.
    • Do not apply hot therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time.
  • How to Heat Gel Packs on a Stove Top
    • Bring 3 quarts (3.5 liters) of water to a boil.
    • Remove water from the heat source. Note: Never immerse gel pack while water is being heated.
    • Immerse the gel pack in hot water for 2.5 - 3 minutes.
    • Place in a knee brace and apply to the affected area.
    • Do not apply hot therapy longer than 15-20 minutes at a time.
  • Application:
    • Place heated or cold gel packs in the pockets of the brace. There are two front pockets and one rear pocket
    • Completely straighten leg
    • Slide brace over a knee
    • Secure straps in place, starting with the middle strap and then securing the upper and lower straps
