A Baton Rouge native, Dr. Culotta earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital. He further specialized through a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Atlanta Scottish Rite Hospital – Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. With a prior role as Chief of Pediatric Surgical Services at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, he now provides expert care for young patients at BROC. Dr. Culotta’s dedication to pediatric and adolescent sports medicine, combined with his extensive experience and community involvement, makes him a trusted expert for young patients in need of orthopedic care.
